Definitions

In these terms and conditions: 
Company” means Tippitoes (UK) Limited of Anchor Works, Holme Lane, Bradford, BD4 6NA.
Buyer” means the customer who places an order through the company’s website other than in the course of business and to whom the Company agrees to supply Goods.
Goods” means any product appearing on the Company’s website from time to time, including original product packaging and instructions supplied by the Company.
Customer” means anyone who uses www.tippitoes.com, for any purpose including the information section of the site ‘Pregnancy, Parenting & You”

Content” means information, opinion, recommendations, letters, messages, comments, posts, text, graphics, software, sound, photographs, videos, data and other materials available on the Company’s website.

Price
The price for the Goods and delivery shall be the prices quoted on the Company’s website at the time the order is placed inclusive of VAT.

Payment and Title
Payment may be made by the means specified on the Company’s website.

The property in the Goods shall not pass to the Buyer until paid for in full, including VAT.

Until such time as the legal and beneficial ownership of the Goods passes to the Buyer the Company shall be entitled at any time to require the Buyer to deliver up the Goods to the Company.

Passing of Risk
The Goods shall be at the Buyer’s risk as from delivery.

Buyer’s Right of Cancellation - Orders from the Company’s Website.
The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 apply to internet orders.
The Buyer has the right to cancel an order placed via the Company’s website at any time within the period beginning on the day of placing the order and ending on the expiry of the seventh working day after (but not including) the day of delivery of the Goods. Cancellation must be in writing by recorded delivery post to Tippitoes UK Limited, Anchor Works, Holme Lane, Bradford, BD4 6NA or by email to webcancel@tippitoes.com and in either case the Buyer must specify the order number and include proof of purchase (original email confirmations with order number and details.)

Once the Buyer has cancelled the purchase of the Goods he/she has a legal “duty of care” to take good care of the Goods. The Buyer must return the Goods to the Company at the Buyer’s expense. When the Buyer returns the Goods both a copy of the original proof of purchase and accompanying despatch note must be included. The Goods must be returned with their original product packaging. A proof of postage may be required in order to refund the price of Goods. You will have to specifically request and obtain a proof of posting at the time of returning Goods, as these are not always automatically provided. You must retain the proof of posting so that it is available should we request it.

The cost of Goods can only be refunded to the original payer, whose debit/credit card or other account was used to place the order.
Subject as below regarding free delivery, the Buyer will be refunded the full price paid for the Goods

Note: Free Delivery
If the Goods returned cause the aggregate order value to drop below the threshold total which resulted in free delivery of the Goods, then the cost of the original delivery shall be deducted from the Buyer’s refund.   

Goods Discrepancies
If the Buyer receives Goods that are faulty/damaged, or not as ordered, the Company, will at its’ discretion, refund, replace or repair the item/s, as long as Goods are returned, if required (the cost of which will be refunded if the Goods are faulty/damaged/incorrect) and the Buyer complies with the returns process as contained in these Terms and Conditions.  

Returns Process:
If the Buyer is aware of a discrepancy with the Goods they must either call 0845 600 8595 or email webreturns@tippitoes.com as soon as practical, outlining the issue. The Buyer will need their original order number and order details when doing this and the Company will then determine the means of dealing with the discrepancy.

If the Company requires the return of the Goods, the Goods must be repackaged (this includes original product packaging) with receipt of purchase (this will be the original email confirmation you received with your order number and details on) and original despatch note. The despatch note returns section must be filled out correctly and in full, with details given where necessary of the issue, in order for the item to be processed correctly. A proof of postage may be required in order to refund the price of Goods. You will have to specifically request and obtain a proof of posting at the time of returning Goods, as these are not always automatically provided. You must retain the proof of posting so that it is available should we request it.

When a refund is provided the cost of Goods can only be refunded to the original payer whose debit/credit card or PayPal account was debited.

Note: Returns Cost
If the Goods returned are found not to be faulty/damaged or incorrect then the cost of delivery will not be refunded. Furthermore, the Buyer will be responsible for the cost of redelivering the Goods.

Consumer Guarantees
Wheeled Goods – Our 6 month guarantee
“Wheeled Goods” means strollers and pushchairs only.
Tippitoes are happy to refund exchange or repair any wheeled good if the product is found to be faulty within the 6 month period after date of purchase, provided the Buyer complies with the returns policy as contained in these Terms and Conditions.

The Guarantee Covers:

  • All pushchairs and strollers sold on the Company’s website www.tippitoes.com
  • All parts except inflatable tyres, inner tubes and rain covers.
  • Where a spare or repair is uneconomical the Company will replace the faulty product.
  • The Company may inspect the product and verify fault before offering a spare, replacement or refund, this may include sending the product to an independent testing house.
The Guarantee Does Not Cover:
  • Damage caused by non domestic use.
  • Deliberate damage, misuse or neglect.
  • General wear and tear; for example; worn wheels, damaged rain covers, worn, torn fabric.
  • Goods that have been modified or undergone an unauthorised repair or used a non approves spare part.
  • Cosmetic damage
  • Matching Accessories eg. Change bags, buggy foot muffs etc.

Spare parts may be provided for damages that fall outside the guarantee at a cost. Prices are quoted on an individual basis, please call our customer care line on 0845 600 8595 for more details.

Statutory Rights
Nothing in these terms and conditions affects the Buyer’s statutory rights in relation to the Goods or the Buyer’s relationship with the Company.

These terms and conditions can be downloaded and the Buyer should download them at the time of purchase of the Goods.

Code Of Conduct

Certain services on www.tippitoes.com are only available for registered Customers. In return for Customers using the Company’s web services the Customer agrees to provide true, accurate, current and complete information about themselves and to ensure that this information is kept correct, complete and up to date.

In order to complete the registration process a username and password must be specified. It is the Customer’s responsibility to keep this safe and secure, as well as agreeing not to provide this to anyone as the Customer will be fully responsible for all activities that occur under their username and password. It is the Customer’s responsibility to notify the Company if they suspect that there has been a breach of security or unauthorised use of their username and password upon becoming aware of it.

The Customer is responsible for anything which he/she transmits or receives to, from or via or posts on the Company’s website.

The Company cannot guarantee accuracy; integrity or quality of content that is posted to, from or via our website by members or third parties nor that it will not be objectionable to the Customer. The Customer should not place any reliance on, nor will the Company be responsible or liable for anything which has been transmitted or received or should have been transmitted or received but was not.

The Customer is not permitted to use the website or any services for any reason that is unlawful, defamatory, or harmful, including transmitting anything that the Company believes in their opinion harms the business or offends other users. The Company is entitled to refuse or remove anything which is transmitted, to from or via or posted on the website without notice. We will not be liable at all for doing this. The Company reserves the right to record, preserve and disclose anything which has been transmitted to, from or via or posted on our website, where required by law or by acting in good faith.

Any material posted on the Company’s website must have the Customer’s right to use and the Customer must ensure that material containing software viruses, or files designed to damage the good working order of any computer is not transmitted or posted. The Customer is not permitted to do anything that will disrupt the use and/or enjoyment of the Company’s website.

The Company is entitled to remove any services from the website at our discretion without notice.

Content appearing on the Company’s website is provided by ourselves, Customers and other third parties. The Company can not guarantee and is not responsible for the accuracy, integrity, quality, completeness, of any Content and you should note that it may be objectionable to you.
